Hello & welcome back!
This week, we’re kicking off a new series where I will be sharing all the latest stuff that’s been happening in my kitchen. This will include recipes that are currently being developed, finished dishes & future projects.
For this new series, the plan is that it will be released once a month & will replace/incorporate the early access posts that I have been sending out recently.
This will also be a space to share ideas. If you’ve got any recipe suggestions, I’d love to hear them!
Blackberry Season
It’s finally blackberry season…
I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by lots of wild blackberries, so they’re never in short supply!
Keep an eye out on the blog for a load of blackberry recipes over the next couple of weeks. I’m thinking cakes, crumbles & jam!

Apple Pie
This week, I’ve been working on a super flaky pie crust, in preparation for an upcoming apple pie recipe. Doing this on two of the hottest days of the year probably wasn’t a great idea but we’re making good progress. Expect the finished recipe to be out in a week or two!
Christmas Mincemeat
Lastly, we have a batch of brown butter mincemeat that I’ve made to be ready in time for Christmas. I know it’s only September but this really benefits from a good month or two to develop in the fridge.
The full recipe will be out next week & when we get closer to Christmas, I’ll be sharing my recipes for classic mince pies & a mince pie treacle tart!

Here you’ll a tray of find light & fluffy tangzhong buns, stuffed with mozzarella & topped with a generous amount of garlic butter & grated parmesan. Serve with pasta or pizza & your onto a winner!
